Welcome back!

Reporting, writing, scuba diving…

Me!

I am a News Assistant at KSAX TV in Alexandria, MN where I report regional stories, shoot and edit video, and appear live during broadcasts.

Community reporting and outdoor writing are my primary interests.  I also love to teach scuba diving and wish I could count the days between my dives on one hand.

In 2007, I took a degree in English and Philosophy from the University of MN, Duluth.  I then moved to South Florida to become a full-time scuba instructor.  Here, I also worked as the staff writer for the Keys  Weekly Newspaper.

After moving to beautiful East Oahu to teach diving in the Pacific,  I soon qualified as a Master Scuba Diver Trainer (PADI MSDT).  However, after living in paradise for a year, I was ready to write, shoot video, and prepare for bigger things…

Updated November 2009.
